Suzie is an avid high altitude mountaineer, having climbed iconic peaks in Alaska, the Himalayas and the Andes mountains.  Since 2014 she has teamed up with the highly-acclaimed mountaineer Maximo Kausch, firstly to discover and then to climb dozens of the most remote mountains on the planet.

How do we discover new mountains?

Suzie and Max have spent years writing the first ever computer code to automatically identify mountains in the Andes in an objective manner.  They are the authors of the most accurate list of mountains over 5000 and 6000 metres in the  Andes - find out more
